In pro disc golf, the hot round is the one that no one else touches. Why? Because it’s too hot. While that’s not precisely true, the hot round is in fact the best round score of the tournament. If more than one course is in play for a tournament, then AF tracks that. If two or more players tie for the best round score, AF tracks that.

The tournaments listed on this page are all fantasy disc golf relevant events as Art’s Fudge (AF) sees it, based on strength of field considerations. It can be entertaining to see names on the list repeat or trend, as if there is fantasy information to be gleaned. It’s also interesting see what place they finish, which often seems to be near the top, to no one’s surprise.

We intend to highlight a top 5 hot rounds of the year, per division. That may be underway and growing as the season evolves.

It ought to be noted that weather plays a huge factor in every round on the pro tour. In this list, it is virtually ignored. Often if a course plays more than one round, the best scores for each round are influenced by weather, particularly precipitation and wind. You see it in the round scores as the whole field shoots collectively a little worse with rougher weather. This list is meant to stay relatively simple and a broad, clean overview of best rounds on the pro tour during the full season.
